BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 completed a positive Saturday at Sachsenring, with Izan Guevara returning to the front group and Alberto Ferrández continuing his progress by securing a place in Q2.

BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 completed a positive Saturday at the Sachsenring circuit, with both riders showing progress throughout the day ahead of tomorrow's race. After identifying areas for improvement from the opening sessions, the team was able to make a step forward and confirm competitive pace, while tyre management over race distance remains the key focus for the Grand Prix.
Izan Guevara continued to demonstrate his speed throughout every session, placing himself among the leading riders and confirming his strong feeling at the German circuit. The Spaniard was the leading Boscoscuro rider on track, showing that the improvements made after recent challenges have helped him remain a solid contender for the race and, eventually, the championship. With tyre degradation expected to play a crucial role in the race, the focus will now be on managing performance over the full distance.
Alberto Ferrández continued his positive learning process at another new circuit, improving session after session and successfully progressing through Q1 into Q2. The rookie showed strong adaptation to the Sachsenring layout and confirmed the progress made by the team, although a mistake on his first flying lap in Q2 prevented him from achieving the qualifying result his potential suggested. Starting from 17th place, Ferrández remains confident about his race pace and is ready to fight for further improvement.
The German Grand Prix will now put tyre management and race execution to the test, with both riders aiming to maximise the work completed so far and continue the positive direction established during the weekend.

"Today was a day full of positive emotions. First of all, congratulations to Alberto. Sachsenring was another completely new circuit for him, yet he came through Q1 and secured a place in Q2. He's doing a fantastic job, working incredibly hard every weekend, and it's great to see him starting to reap the rewards of all that effort. Of course, his learning process is still ongoing and tomorrow's race will be a very demanding one, especially considering how critical tyre management is at this circuit, but his progress is clear to everyone.

We've worked hard to prepare for that because, so far this season, it's been one of the areas where we've struggled to make the difference in the closing laps.

"We did a really good job today. We managed to find some of the things again we had lost in the last three races due to some issues we were facing, and that is a big positive.
"Sachsenring has always been a track where I feel strong, and today we confirmed that by being the only Boscoscuro at the front and fighting with some very strong competitors. I'm proud of the work we've done and the position we achieved.

"Overall, it was a positive day. This morning we focused on improving some of the areas we identified yesterday, and the changes we made worked well. Coming through Q1 and securing a place in Q2 was an important step, and I'm happy with the progress we made.
"Unfortunately, in Q2 I only had one fresh set of tyres available after qualifying through Q1. On my first flying lap, I made a small mistake and ran wide in one corner, which meant I couldn't put together the lap I was aiming for. Starting from 17th isn't ideal, but I know we have more potential than the result suggests.
"So far this weekend our race pace has been stronger than our one-lap speed, which gives me confidence for tomorrow. It will be a long and demanding race, but we'll give everything to keep improving and fight for the best result possible."
