The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team turned its fortunes around on the Grand Prix of Hungary Saturday. Izan Guevara delivered a perfect lap to take his second pole position and third front-row start of the 2026 Moto2 season. Rookie Alberto Ferrández made his second Q2 appearance but was unable to show his full potential. He will start tomorrow's 22-lap Moto2 Race from 17th on the grid.

Team Manager, BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2
"Today, once we managed to solve the issue, he showed exactly what he, the bike, and the whole package are capable of. He did an excellent job, and I want to congratulate both him and the team, who worked tirelessly to identify the problem and find a solution.
"I'm a little disappointed for Alberto because, honestly, he looked stronger yesterday. Today, he never felt completely comfortable with either set of tyres he used in qualifying. I don't think it was a tyre issue; it was probably more related to the changing conditions, which affected his confidence with the front end.
"The important thing is that he stayed calm and didn't take unnecessary risks. Sometimes you need to understand the problem, keep working, and come back stronger. I'm confident we can do exactly that tomorrow."
