BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Take P8 & P20 on Texas Moto2 Starting Grid
BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team's Izan Guevara will start the Grand Prix of the United States from P8 on the grid. Alberto Ferrández started to take a liking to the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) on Day 2. He secured his best grid placement of the season so far: P20.

The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team went full gas in the Grand Prix of the United States Moto2 qualifying sessions today. Izan Guevara pushed to P8 on the grid, while Alberto Ferrández delivered a new personal best Moto2 qualifying result, taking P20.

With COTA being the longest track on the calendar and laps taking over 2 minutes, Guevara was keen to not waste any time. Unable to produce the lap he hoped for at the end of the 15-minute shoot-out, his best time of 2'05.569s, set on lap 2/6, earned him eighth place.

Ferrández took part in Q1 and, having finished FP2 in P13, was determined to keep the positive momentum going. Despite a red-flag intermission, he completed 8 laps and set a best time of 2'06.835s on his final try, earning himself 20th place on the grid.

On Sunday track action resumes at 13:15 (GMT-5) for the 16 lap Moto2 Race.

"It was another good day of progress. I'm really happy because we improved a lot lap by lap and session by session. Our growth is showing here. We are learning a lot. This track is difficult for me because it's new for me, but I still try to push and give my best, as usual. We are closer than at the previous rounds. I'm happy about that. Step by step we will arrive where we want to be."
