Following a highly successful Grand Prix of Japan, the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 team head directly to Indonesia for the second stop of this season's Asian tour. Located on the island of Lombok, the Mandalika International Circuit made its MotoGP debut in 2022 and has quickly become one of the most distinctive venues on the calendar. The 4.31 km circuit features 17 corners and is known for its demanding combination of flowing sequences, tropical heat, and high humidity, challenging both riders and machinery to the limit.

Guevara arrives in Mandalika full of confidence after securing a superb victory at Motegi last weekend, further reducing his championship deficit to just 10.5 points with six rounds remaining. The Spaniard has been one of the standout performers of the second half of the season, claiming back-to-back victories in Austria and Japan and establishing himself as a genuine title contender. He heads into the Indonesian Grand Prix eager to continue his recent momentum and keep the pressure on in the championship battle at a track he likes. Mandalika holds positive memories for Guevara, as he secured the first podium of his BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 career there last season.

Ferrández is set to rejoin the team after missing the Japanese Grand Prix while recovering from a broken right collarbone sustained during qualifying in Austria. The rookie Spaniard will undergo a mandatory medical examination on Thursday before receiving clearance to compete. Prior to his injury, Ferrández had shown encouraging progress throughout the season and was steadily improving his pace and competitiveness. With Mandalika marking his return to action, the primary objective will be to rebuild confidence on the bike, continue gaining valuable experience, and gradually return to the trajectory of progress established before Austria.

Team Manager, BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2
"First of all, I want to welcome Alberto back. We are all really happy to have him back with us and to see that he is doing well. It certainly won't be an easy race for him, but the most important thing is that he is here with us again and can continue gaining experience on these overseas circuits.

"With Izan, we are heading to a circuit where he already finished on the podium last year, although at that time we were still using the previous version of the bike. Since then, we have introduced the latest specification, which he clearly feels much more comfortable with. If we were already competitive here last year with the previous bike, I'm confident that this can be another track where Izan can continue the great progress we have seen from him over the last few races.

"As a team, we will do everything we can to keep the pressure away from him and, at the same time, not put any unnecessary pressure on ourselves. It is very important that we continue working calmly, just as we have done over the last few races. We need to stay focused, enjoy the moment, and continue doing our best to express the full potential of both the rider and the team."

"We are coming from two really strong races in Austria and Japan, with an incredible feeling on the bike. We are in a very good place at the moment, and I feel really confident, so I just need to keep pushing and continue in the same direction.

"We are now coming to the circuit where we took our first podium with BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2. Last year we finished second here in Indonesia, so I have some really good memories from this track. It's a circuit I really like, and although it will be very hot and humid, that is actually something I enjoy and feel comfortable with. So, I'm really happy to be here, and the goal is to enjoy the weekend, keep building on what we have been doing, and create some more great moments."

"I'm very happy to be back on the bike this weekend in Mandalika. Unfortunately, we couldn't go to Japan because of the injury I suffered in Austria, but before that we were having some good races and were already making a step forward in terms of pace and competitiveness. So, I'm really happy with the progress we were making.

"After the injury, I will take this weekend as a test to see how I feel physically and how my body reacts on the bike. I'm obviously not at 100% yet, but I know I will be able to ride the bike safely and give my best. We will see how it goes, but I'm really excited to be back.

"I also want to say a big thank you to the team. I have stayed in contact with everyone, and they have all been really concerned about me and my recovery. That support helped me a lot, so I'm very happy to be back with them this weekend."
