The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 team head to the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera, where Izan Guevara aims to continue his championship charge and Alberto Ferrández is eager to make the most of a circuit he knows well.

The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 team are making their way to the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the 14th round of the 2026 Moto2 World Championship. Located in the heart of Italy's renowned Motor Valley, the circuit always attracts passionate crowds. For Izan Guevara and Alberto Ferrández, Misano offers another important opportunity to build momentum as the championship enters a crucial phase.
Guevara heads to Misano in confident mood after a strong second-place finish in Aragon that saw him reduce the gap to the championship leader to 32.5 points. The Spaniard has made encouraging progress in the recent races and is determined to continue the trend at a circuit where he stood on the Moto3 podium in 2022 for a third place. This weekend, consistency and race management are expected to be decisive factors again. With the title fight intensifying, Guevara's objective is clear: keep scoring valuable points in the battle for the championship.
Ferrández is equally motivated as the championship returns to a venue that holds special significance for him. The youngster knows Misano well and also gained useful Moto2 experience there last season when he competed as a World Championship wildcard. After a difficult run since the summer break, Ferrández is focused on returning to the form he showed earlier in the year and believes his familiarity with the circuit can help him take an important step forward this weekend.

It is always a special event, not only for me because it is truly my home Grand Prix, but because there is a different energy and a different pleasure in racing here.
"We are also in the middle of a strong comeback. We are in a phase of the championship where things are going really well, we are in very good shape, and everything is working as it should. It is therefore very important to continue the progress Izan is making, which has been really impressive. Misano will also be an important Grand Prix for Alberto. After a home race that did not go as he had hoped, we return to a track he really likes and knows very well. He also raced here as a World Championship wildcard last year, so this is probably one of the last circuits where he can really show his potential thanks to the experience he already has.

"Now we are heading to Misano, and I believe that after the race we had in Aragon, we can also have a really good weekend there. Misano is a bit of a difficult circuit, but at the moment we are in a good run of form, and I'm very happy with how the Aragon weekend ended. We finished second, we are now closer to the championship leader, and we have to continue working in the same way and try to have another strong weekend in Misano.
