BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Riders Ready for Home Challenge at the Grand Prix of Aragon
BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team riders Izan Guevara and Alberto Ferrández head to the Grand Prix of Aragon aiming to build on their recent progress as the Moto2 World Championship continues with Round 13 of the season.

The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team journey to MotorLand Aragón for Round 13 of the Moto2 World Championship, the Grand Prix of Aragon. Back home in Spain and after a two-week break, Izan Guevara and Alberto Ferrández are eager to tackle a circuit they know well and where both have enjoyed success in the past. The 5.08 km venue is renowned for its mix of fast corners, heavy-braking zones, and often high temperatures, creating a demanding challenge for riders and teams alike.
Guevara heads into the Aragón weekend with plenty of confidence after narrowly missing the podium at Silverstone. The Spaniard won at MotorLand Aragón in the Moto3 class in 2022 and is aiming for another podium finish this weekend. He currently holds second place in the championship standings and is determined to reduce the 42.5-point gap to the championship leader.
Ferrández is equally motivated as the championship returns to Spain. Unlike several tracks visited earlier this season, Aragon is a circuit the rookie already knows well, giving him a valuable foundation heading into the weekend. Having continued to make steady progress throughout his debut Moto2 campaign, Ferrández is aiming to use his familiarity with the track to take another step forward and fight closer to the front.

"We're all very motivated for the Aragon Grand Prix. In Silverstone, the new ideas we introduced helped Izan to be very fast in qualifying, although we lost some of that performance over the race distance. During the summer break, we've analysed the data carefully and already identified some further areas to work on, with the aim of being competitive not only over one lap but throughout the race. We're confident we can have a strong weekend.
"Aragon is also a circuit Alberto knows well, and as he continues to gain experience in Moto2, being back at a track he is familiar with is another opportunity to take a step forward. When he is able to spend a few laps fighting with the front group, he learns a lot and can add that experience to his development. "After the summer break, we've continued training and I feel ready to get back to racing. I was left wanting more after Silverstone because I felt we had the potential for a very strong result, and we just missed out on the podium. That has given me even more motivation to come to Aragon, a circuit where I have very good memories and have won before.
"I've always felt strong here, so I believe we can have a positive weekend. It will be very hot in Aragon at this time of year, but I actually enjoy racing in those conditions. The goal is to start working hard from the first day, build on what we learned during the break, and fight for a strong result that can help us in the championship."
