BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team Ready to Restart Championship Campaign at Silverstone
The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team return to action at the Grand Prix of Great Britain, with Izan Guevara and Alberto Ferrández eager to make a strong start to the second half of the Moto2 World Championship season.

The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team head to the Grand Prix of Great Britain at the Silverstone Circuit for Round 12 of the Moto2 World Championship, the first race weekend following the three-week summer break.
Silverstone is one of the fastest and most iconic circuits on the calendar, the 5.9km-long track is renowned for its high-speed, flowing layout and often unpredictable weather conditions. Both Izan Guevara and Alberto Ferrández arrive motivated to build on the progress made during the opening half of the season as the championship battle resumes.
Guevara returns to Silverstone with positive memories of the circuit, having delivered his best Moto2 result there last season with a fifth-place finish. The Spaniard also enjoyed a strong Moto3 performance at the venue, finishing fourth in 2021. Following a productive summer break, Guevara is eager to pick up where he left off before the holidays. He wants to keep closing in on the standings leader as the championship enters a crucial stage.
Ferrández approaches the British round refreshed and motivated after the summer break. The rookie faces another new challenge as he prepares to tackle Silverstone for the first time, with the focus firmly on continuing his development and building on the progress he has shown so far this season.

"I'm very happy to be heading back to Silverstone because it's a circuit that brings back great memories for us. It was here last year that Izan really turned a corner. From that weekend onwards he began to consistently deliver the performances we knew he was capable of, and he produced an excellent race, fighting with the leading group throughout. Hopefully, Silverstone can once again mark an important step in our season. It won't be easy, but we believe we can continue moving in the right direction.

"After the three-week summer break, I'm really looking forward to getting back on the bike at Silverstone. It's a circuit where I took an important step forward last year, finishing fifth and fighting with the front group, so I have good memories of racing there.
"Even though we've had a few weeks away from competition, we haven't stopped training, and I feel ready to start the second half of the season. The forecast suggests we could have some wet conditions over the weekend, but that's something I usually enjoy, so we'll see how things develop. The motivation is high, and the goal is to make the most of the weekend and fight for another strong result."

Notes
The Moto2 schedule for the British GP differs from the usual Central European Grand Prix timetable. FP1 will take place on Friday from 10:50-11:30 and Practice from 15:05-15:45 local track time (GMT+1). On Saturday, FP2 will be held from 10:25-10:55, followed by Q1 and Q2 from 14:40-15:20. On Sunday, the 17-lap Race is scheduled to start at 11:15.
