BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 have arrived in France for Round 5 of the 2026 Moto2 World Championship, held at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans. Known for its passionate fans and often unpredictable weather, the French GP presents a race weekend full of excitement, and the team is confident – after showing strong form in both dry and wet conditions so far this season – that they will be able to score well here.

Izan Guevara has enjoyed solid results at Le Mans in the past, including a third-place podium finish in Moto3 in 2022. Currently third in the overall standings, the Spaniard is feeling positive following the Spanish GP and believes the team has the potential to fight consistently for top positions even as the championship intensifies.

After a difficult recent run that included a crash in the US and a penalty in Jerez, Alberto Ferrández is keen to return to a more straightforward race weekend. The rookie last rode at Le Mans in 2023 in the Rookies' Cup and is looking forward to tackling the 4.19km circuit on the Moto2 machine. Ranked 22nd in the championship, his focus remains on steady progress and building confidence.

Team Manager, BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2
"Le Mans is a beautiful circuit, both for its atmosphere and its history, and it is one of the rounds on the calendar with the highest attendance. However, it is always slightly concerning from a weather perspective, as conditions are often very changeable – sun, cold, and frequently rain – so we know that anything can happen there. I am feeling particularly positive, nevertheless, because this year we have been strong in all conditions, including wet races, where we have consistently performed well. We are arriving very motivated, and this goes for both riders.

"We have two different objectives: for Alberto, the goal is to improve race by race, gain experience, and hopefully make progress both on the grid and in race positions. For Izan, the target is to stay in the top 3, as we want to remain at the head of the championship."

"I am looking forward to racing in Le Mans. Even though it's not exactly one of my favourite tracks, it's a circuit where I managed to get good results in the past, like when I got on the podium in 2022. In general I have always done well there. We arrive in Le Mans in good spirits after Jerez, where we had a few issues but still showed we can aim for top positions. Also, I feel very good on the bike and with my riding. The whole team is doing an amazing job, and we're striving to be in the top positions and bringing home as many points as possible."

"I'm really excited to go back to Le Mans. The last time I was there was in 2023 with the Rookies' Cup, and I enjoyed it a lot, so I am happy to try it now with the Moto2 bike. It's a beautiful track with a lot of hard braking corners, which could be a good point for us. I am also looking forward to going back to a more 'normal' race because, with the fall in the US and the penalty in Jerez, the last two races have been too eventful."
