The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team travel to Austin, Texas for Round 3 of the 2026 Moto2 World Championship, held at the Circuit of The Americas (COTA). After a solid performance in the Brazilian GP race, the team aim to make further steps this weekend at one of the most demanding circuits on the calendar.

COTA will be familiar territory for Guevara, who claimed his maiden Moto3 victory at the Grand Prix of the Americas in 2021, marking one of his standout early career performances. His best Moto2 result at this circuit is last year's fifth place. He is currently fourth in the 2026 overall standings and eager to challenge the top 3.

For Ferrández, the weekend represents a new challenge as he discovers the 5.51km layout's long straights, heavy braking zones, and technical sections for the first time. He holds 19th place in the rankings with the 0.5 point he earned at the Thai GP.

"After Izan's impressive comeback in Brazil, we arrive in Austin highly motivated and aiming to return to the front positions, where we have shown we belong and want to be. COTA is a very demanding circuit: fast, technical, and wide; and these are characteristics that Izan already knows well, so I'm confident he will manage them in the best possible way. It will be more challenging for Alberto, who will ride on this track for the first time. He knows, and we know, that this is a challenge from which he can and must learn, gaining valuable experience."

"After a complicated GP in Brazil, I arrive in Austin highly motivated. It's a track I really like, where I won in Moto3 in my first year here. It's a very demanding circuit, but one I enjoy a lot. We are going through a very positive period, which allows us to approach each race with confidence and focus while continuing to learn where we can improve. I will give my maximum to fight for the podium and make the most of this strong momentum to score as many points as possible."
